#SailingCabinTotal for 4Adjusted totalAdjusted / nightWhy it qualifies

Pricing: total for 4 in one cabin

Two kinds of price, kept separate. Your quote rows are the verified totals for 4 incl. taxes you collected Oct 13, 2026. Every other row is a per-person "from" fare from CruiseTimetables. For those, the page shows an ≈ESTIMATE of 4 × the per-person fare. The estimate leaves out taxes, port fees, and gratuities, and the cabin may not take 4 guests. The 3rd and 4th guest fares are often much lower, so it can be far off. Example: Disney Wonder on Jan 18 estimates at 4 × $1,447 ≈ $5,788, but your verified total was $2,513. Per night = total ÷ nights.

Disney-equivalent extras add what each line charges for what Disney includes free: soda for all 4 and 3 room-service orders, on a 7-night baseline scaled by nights ÷ 7. The baselines are Princess $510, Royal Caribbean $458, Norwegian $205 (kid soda + room service; adults are covered by Free at Sea), MSC $673, Disney $0. Holland America and the other lines show n/a because the inputs aren't verified. Adjusted total = total + extras, so it compares apples-to-apples with Disney's $580/night. Alcohol and tips are not included (see the Upgrade packages tab).

Verified quote qualifies: adjusted total <$3,000 or <$400/night; 4+ nights; no blackout Estimate is under budget (not a quote) Over budget: total >$3,000 and ≥$400/night Overlaps Jan 20–24, 2027 blackout
    Data sources & update notes (6 line-site updates, Oct 13, 2026)

Discovery Princess update (Oct 13, 2026): 12 sailings, Dec 5, 2026–Feb 27, 2027, re-priced on princess.com for 4 guests. Each total = average per person incl. taxes/fees × 4. Ocean view was sold out on all of them. *"FREE 3rd & 4th Guests" and "Last Minute Deals" badges showed on most of these sailings; which ones exactly wasn't recorded (not verified per sailing). Jan 9 replaces the earlier $1,498 / $2,298 figures. Feb 6 replaces $1,538 and makes the earlier approximate figures exact.

Royal Caribbean update (Oct 13, 2026, ~12:15 PM PT): 40 sailings on Ovation (LA), Serenade (San Diego) and Voyager (LA), priced on royalcaribbean.com for 1 room, 2 adults + 2 children. Each total = per-person price at the room-selection step × 4, incl. taxes & fees. The promos shown on all of them were Instant Savings Flash Sale (ends ~8 PM PT Oct 13), 60% off 2nd guest, and 3rd & 4th guests sail free, so these prices may rise after the sale ends. "Not available for 4" sailings are grouped with sold out. The Voyager Nov 27 row is your earlier quote and was not rechecked.

Norwegian update (ncl.com, Oct 13, 2026): 4 guests in one stateroom on 12 Encore (LA) and 8 Star (San Diego) sailings. Totals are cruise-only estimates: per-person "From" × 4, incl. taxes, not including Free at Sea gratuities (~$1,040 per 7 nights). Turn on the "NCL: add Free at Sea" filter, or read the gray line under each total, for the estimate with Free at Sea (+$148.57/night). Verified check: Encore Jan 17–24 inside was $2,396 in full with Free at Sea (open bar $798 + 3 specialty meals; $240 prepaid gratuities included), or about $1,358 cruise-only without the add-ons. The earlier Dec 6 inside quote of $2,336 already included Free at Sea; it's kept as a labeled row. Encore's "suite" column is probably The Haven; Club Balcony Suite is about $1,680–2,090 pp (not verified). Promos shown: Kids Sail Free (3rd/4th guests pay taxes only), 50% off, Free at Sea by default. The "Kids sail free only" filter now includes these Norwegian sailings and the Royal Caribbean ones (3rd & 4th guests sail free on all).

Disney update (disneycruise.disney.go.com, Oct 13, 2026): 22 Disney Wonder round-trips from San Diego, priced for 2 adults + kids 9 & 6 in 1 stateroom, incl. taxes, fees and port charges. "(G)" means the Guaranteed with Restrictions rate, where Disney assigns the room. Each row links to its sailing code (DW2218–DW2239). The Jan 18 figures are unchanged ($2,513 / $2,798 / $3,133), now marked G, with concierge $7,083.

Holland America update (hollandamerica.com, Oct 13, 2026): 11 San Diego sailings on Zaandam, Koningsdam and Zuiderdam, for 2 adults + 2 children. Each total = average per person × 4, incl. taxes & fees; port expenses weren't broken out. "Save on Sunshine" (up to 50% off + onboard credit, ends Oct 21) is on the Dec 8–Jan 23 sailings, and Have It All is available. Disney-equivalent extras are n/a: room service is free, but the soda price isn't verified. A rough ~$250 per 7 nights for everyone's soda is unverified and not used.

Princess (non-Discovery) update (princess.com, Oct 13, 2026): 9 Crown, Emerald, Ruby and Island Princess sailings, 4 guests. Each total = average per person × 4, incl. taxes, at the Princess Plus fare (the site default; the Standard fare was not checked). Plus-fare totals already include the Plus package for the guests being charged. Their Disney-equivalent extras are therefore kids' soda only (~$248 per 7 nights, scaled by nights). "FREE 3rd & 4th Guests" shows on all except E701 and R631. Each row links to princess.com by voyage code. Emerald Dec 14 and Ruby Dec 26 now have princess.com prices instead of "sold out for 4." Ruby Princess Jan 27 is your earlier quote; the R703 code CruiseTimetables used for it appears wrong.

Click a column header to sort. Green = within budget, orange = over budget, red = blackout overlap.

    Best fits (verified quotes):
Disney benchmark: your recent Disney Wonder 5-night cruise cost $2,900 total, or $580/night. Before comparing, remember Disney includes soda, room service, and main dining (see Amenities).
    Blackout overlaps (verified quotes):

Norwegian Encore: only the inside price ($2,336, including Free at Sea gratuities) was consistent. Other Encore categories need a re-quote. Emerald Princess (Dec 14) and Ruby Princess (Dec 26) were sold out for 4 guests.

    All sailings to/from California ports, departing Dec 1, 2026 – Feb 28, 2027

Every sailing that departs from, or ends at, Los Angeles (San Pedro), Long Beach, San Diego, or San Francisco and departs Dec 1, 2026–Feb 28, 2027, as listed by CruiseTimetables.com on Oct 13, 2026. Sailings that only stop at a California port mid-voyage are excluded. Your verified quotes are merged in, including Voyager Nov 27, 2026, which departs before this window. The filters are shared with the Pricing tab.

Caveats: ship, dates, ports, and prices come from one aggregator unless a row is tagged "cross-checked." Nothing was checked against the cruise lines' booking engines: there was no sign-in and no booking. CruiseTimetables lists Carnival's Long Beach sailings under "Los Angeles." Those rows are relabeled Long Beach based on carnival.com's "long-beach-los-angeles" URLs (terminal not verified). Long world cruises appear once per bookable segment. Kids-sail-free is only tagged where your own quote confirmed it, since aggregators don't show promos. No Celebrity, Virgin Voyages, or MSC sailings in this window turned up. Brilliant Lady is in Miami Dec–Feb per CruiseMapper, and Celebrity's own site says it doesn't currently sail from San Diego.

Click a column header to sort. Green = has a within-budget verified quote, orange = cheapest known price is over budget, red = blackout overlap.

    Upgrade packages vs Disney

Baseline: 2 adults + boys 9 & 6, 7 nights. Wi-Fi is valued at $0 everywhere. "Match Disney" means paying for what Disney includes free: soda for all 4 and 3 room-service orders. "Moderate drinking" means 2 alcoholic drinks per adult per day at $12 + 18% = $14.16, an assumption, for $396 per week for the two of you. Package prices and rules come from your research and were not re-verified against line sites.

    How the summary figures add up: Princess match = soda for 4 ($17.69 × 4 × 7) + 3 × $5 room service. Princess à la carte = match + $396 alcohol + adult tips ($18/pp/day; tip rate inferred from your figures). RC match = soda for 4 ($13 + 18%) + 3 × ($7.95 + 18%). NCL = kid soda ($12.50 × 2 × 7) + 3 × $9.95. MSC match = Alcohol-Free for 2 adults + Minors for 2 kids + 3 × $5 room service (MSC fee per order assumed $5; delivery is free on Fantastica and higher fares).

Calculator: à la carte vs package

LineÀ la carteper nightPackagePackage totalper nightCheaper

The calculator adds room-service fees to both columns unless the package waives them (Princess Plus/Premier). Because of that, RC Deluxe ($1,598) and MSC Premium ($1,471) come out about $15–28 above the summary figures, which leave room service out. Princess à la carte includes adult tips at $18/pp/day because Plus includes crew tips; the other lines leave tips out of both columns. Package caps aren't modeled: Princess Plus 15 drinks/day and drinks up to $15, HAL drinks up to $11. HAL soda is excluded because its price isn't verified. Norwegian assumes the adults' drinks fit within Free at Sea. Alcohol-package rules, such as "all adults must buy," are covered in the table above.

    Budget & criteria

    Hard limits

    • Budget rule: a sailing qualifies if the total is under $3,000 incl. taxes (tips not included), OR the total is any amount and the per-night cost is under $400. The $3,000 cap is soft: a longer cruise can go over it if it stays under $400/night.
    • The Pricing tab and Best value summary apply this rule to adjusted totals (total + Disney-equivalent extras). The scorecard below uses the quoted totals.
    • Disney's $580/night (your recent Disney Wonder trip) is still shown as a comparison benchmark, but it's no longer a budget limit.
    • 4+ nights (ideally 5+), max 16 nights
    • Sail before mid-Feb 2027. Avoid Jan 20–24, 2027.
